The Plumbing Repairs A Handyman Is Meant To Do
The small plumbing jobs that a licensed plumber charges a trip fee just to look at. A faucet that drips, a disposal that hums and quits, a toilet that runs all night, a shutoff valve that will not shut off, a slow drain, a leaking supply line under the sink.
Repair-level plumbing is handyman work in Florida: swapping fixtures and parts that are already there, without opening walls or pulling a permit. That is what we do, at the same $45 an hour with a two hour minimum, and we bring the whole list into one visit.
Anything that needs a permit, new rough-in, re-piping, a water heater, or gas goes to a licensed plumber, and on remodels we coordinate that trade for you.
How the job goes
- Measure the real house
Nothing is square. We measure what is there, not what the plans say. - Build to fit
Cut, fit and scribe on site. Coped corners, tight reveals, no gaps to caulk. - Finish clean
Caulked, sanded and ready for paint, with the room put back and the dust gone.
Common questions
What plumbing can a handyman do in Florida?
Repairs and like-for-like replacements that do not need a permit: faucets, disposals, toilets, shutoff valves, supply lines, drains and leaks. Permit work goes to a licensed plumber.
Do you supply the parts?
Either way. Bring the fixture you want or we pick it up and add it to the bill at cost.
